Results from University Studies of EarthGuard® FM

The data from these series of tests conducted at Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) support the use of EarthGuard® Fiber Matrix to reduce erosion and off-site delivery of sediment from steep slopes. It offers a C Factor of <.01 (+99%) in tests with a R Factor of >230. A >99% reduction in sediment delivery/weight is a high level performance comparable to the best performing BMPs such as some rolled erosion control products (RECP) and BFM/FRMs. EarthGuard® Fiber Matrix offers this supreme protection at a fraction of the cost of these other BMPs.
